  The gentlemen and lady in the office appear nice, however, there were some things not disclosed when the house was gotten. The plumbing was broken. Upon first having it turned on, it was gushing up through the floor. However, when I first had come to approach them, there was one individual that said it was not my problem. I was upset about it. As is means as is, but there are certain things that are supposed to be disclosed. The wiring in the house is so outdated and needed to be replaced. The breaker box had to be flipped daily, and I could not use a microwave in the kitchen while using the stove. There was also mold that led to my son having increased seizures. Then my kids and I had to go somewhere else to take a bath because the plumbing was not right. They did show up to correct the issue, but the headache I got about it, certainly was not worth it. Plumbing and Electrical are important aspects of a home that are a necessity. Furthermore, there were critters there, and I had never had a problem with them. Luckily, I was able to leave. I had to since my 12 year old had fallen in the shower while having a seizure. Because the tub did not drain, it placed him at risk for drowning. Like I said, some of the people are nice, I just think they need to disclose what is wrong with the houses before they sell them. If the plumbing and electrical work then go bad, that is another story. But in this case, they did not. Now the Central Air Unit was new and the furnace was, but it seems that some of the repairs they claim to have done, were done poorly. They tell us we are responsible for maintenance and require a licensed person to do the work, but if it was licensed individuals who did the work, then I would be looking for new ones. I could have done a better job. The access to the laundry area, was not done according to specifications. Furthermore, there was corners of sheet rock that did not have molding. The keys not working for the back door. Regardless of the house being rent to own, there is a certain amount of security we have a right to as tenants. It is just rather discouraging, that this happens.
